No Flock in CT: Educational Forum

  • Unitarian Society of Hartford 50 Bloomfield Avenue Hartford, Connecticut, 06105 United States (map)

Join us on September 26th in Hartford for an Educational Forum on Flock, ALPRs, and FOIAs in Connecticut.

Come out to hear speakers from the Surveillance Off Our Streets Campaign that has been leading the fight in towns across CT to get Flock and ALPRs out of our communities. Meet residents from West Hartford, Hartford, Windsor, New London, Norwalk, and Stamford who have been fighting back against surveillance.

We’ll hear from speakers running through Flock and FOIA requests 101 as well as speakers from CT’s REACH Fund, the only abortion fund in the state to learn more about how this surveillance targets people seeking reproductive healthcare. We’ll hear from speakers from Stamford-Norwalk United with Immigrants (SNUI) to learn about fusion centers and how joint task forces allow for collaboration and data sharing between local and federal agents.
More speakers to be announced soon!

This forum will include time for discussion and break out groups so local residents can get plugged in with town-based efforts.

Please save the date and check back for more information coming soon!
